September 26, 2008

Image Entertainment will release the "Vans Warped Tour 2007" DVD December 2. Shot during the "Lucky 13" year of America’s longest-running touring festival, the one-hour DVD features breaking and established bands from the annual summer-long tour, affectionately called "punk rock summer camp" by many. Featured artist performances include:

AVENGED SEVENFOLD
BAD RELIGION
CHIODOS
CIRCA SURVIVE
COHEED AND CAMBRIA
KILLSWITCH ENGAGE
FISHBONE
PENNYWISE
PEPPER
THE STARTING LINE
SUM 41

The DVD also features 30 minutes of bonus footage, including interviews with ALKALINE TRIO, THE ALMOST, CHIODOS, COHEED AND CAMBRIA, ESCAPE THE FATE, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, MEG & DIA, PARAMORE and THE STARTING LINE.

Since its creation in 1995, the Vans Warped Tour has played a major role in bringing punk rock/action sports culture from the underground to the forefront of American youth culture, while at the same time creating awareness and taking action towards environmental and social causes. Alternative Press readers have voted the Vans Warped Tour "Best Tour/Festival," while Rolling Stone called it "America's most successful festival."
